Full papers or abstracts must be submitted via email to
submit@ieeespmb.org
for review on or before stated conference deadline.
Upon acceptance, authors will be sent an email from IEEE to
confirm their electronic copyright signature.
Accepted authors must attend the conference and present
their work before it can be published in
IEEE Xplore.
At least one unique conference registration is required per
accepted paper or poster.
Please note that you may present only one paper or poster.
If you are an author on multiple submissions, you must arrange
to have these presented by a co-author.
Also, please note that since there is only one poster session, an
author can present only one poster. If you have multiple poster
submissions, you must have a co-author present the poster.
Failure to attend the conference and present the paper or
poster will result in removal from the conference record.
Papers
You must submit a pdf version of your paper. Formatting requirements for full paper submissions include (but are not limited to):
- Four to six pages in length
- Two-column layout
- 1" margins
- Main body text uses a
10 pt. Times New Roman font - Capitalized and centered title
- Abstract is less than 250 words
- Abstract, figure and table captions use a 9 pt. Times New Roman font
- Acknowledgement section citing funding sources if appropriate
- References cited in IEEE format
A funding acknowledgement, if appropriate, must be included
in a section titled Acknowledgement at the end of the paper
after the Summary/Conclusions and before the References section.
An example of a compliant full paper submission that you can
download and use as a template can be found

for MS Word and

for Latex.
Posters
You must submit a pdf version of your poster. Requirements for a poster submission begin with the submission of an abstract that follows these formats:
- Single column layout
- 1" margins
- 11 pt. Times New Roman font
- Capitalized and centered title
- Funding acknowledgement
- References cited in IEEE format
The submission should be no less than one page in length with
references and a funding acknowledgement appearing on a second
page. Submissions longer than one page are fine, but
submissions should not be longer than four pages including
references, tables and figures. One-page submissions are
preferred. Longer is not necessarily better in this case.
Upon acceptance of an abstract, applicants must attach a one-page
copy of their poster at the end of the approved abstract. This PDF
file will need to be resubmitted prior to the conference (after
notification of acceptance).
An example of a compliant abstract/poster submission in MS Word
that you can download and use as a template can be found
here.
An example of the final submission can be found

Please note that our posterboards are 30" x 40", so please size your
posters accordingly.
