HW 11: EM ESTIMATION

1. Using the two-class data generated in homework no. 7, estimate the parameters of a single Gaussian model for a combined data set containing data from both classes. Explain the result.
   
   
2. Next, estimate the parameters of a two-mixture and four-mixture distribution for this same data. Which is the best model? Compare and constrast the results.
