MICROSOFT PROJECT TEMPLATES

Project management tools are becoming increasingly important in engineering. Many corporations use comprehensive engineering tools in which all aspects of the design process and product development cycles are captured electronically (e.g., enterprise engineering tools). These tools are gaining increasing acceptance in the workplace (much like spreadsheets did many years ago). Naturally, as the cost of desktop computing drops, shrink-wrapped software such as Microsoft Project is becoming a staple of many small to medium-sized companies.

We first introduced the use of Microsoft Project to the senior design curriculum in Fall'2002. Below is a template we provide to get you started, along with some other related views of this document:
