This is an excerpt from This is an excerpt from M. Baker, J. Boettcher, K. Bradley, P. Conley, J. Rucker, and J. Wilson, "SECON'2003," ECE 4522: Design II, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mississippi State University, Spring 2003:

The test data indicates that the design constraints were met. The results for on-line navigation show that the average line deviation is 0.165 cm, which is 74% below the design constraint. Off-line navigation exceeds the design constraint by 76%. The robot measures distances within 0.93% error, which is a 62.8% improvement over the design constraint. The cup-dropping results show that the robot covers the LED candle 76% of the time. The robot is able to complete end-to-end trials for 90% of candle placements. Software safeguards will increase this number to 100%.
