This talk will focus on what happens to a product idea after
the proof of concept is complete. We will discuss in detail
aspects of manufacturing including physical design, PC layout,
part procurement, costing, and documentation. Other topics
including mechanical design and packaging will also be briefly
described.
Larry Hand is a senior design engineer at Peavey Electronics.
He received his MSEE from Auburn University in 1977.
He joined Peavey Electronics in 1983, and has been involved
in the design and manufacturing of audio electronics products.
He previously worked for Harris Corporation in Melbourne, Florida
from 1977 to 1983.
