This poem was written by Julie Ngan in September of 1993 when she was
suffering from college-student starvation a couple of years ago. As
the story goes, she had overslept and skipped breakfast. Her ride was
a couple hours late, and she was stuck in Butler Hall watching
somebody eat a candy bar.
My beloved curry chicken rice!
That heavenly smell never die.
The juicy chicken bits so fine.
That sweet spicy taste divine.
Temptation so strong that I cry,
Oh! How I miss my curry chicken rice!
